Julian Lloyd Webber's latest CD, Unexpected Songs, has just been released on EMI Classics. Last November, Erdo Groot travelled to Wyastone concert hall in Monmouth, UK to work together with Julian on his CD recording of Unexpected Songs, where he combined engineering with producing (together with Julian), editing and mixing. John Lenehan accompanied Julian in the Cello Piano pieces. Julian was joined by Catrin Finch on the harp, Pam Chowan (also responsible for several of the arrangements) on the piano and Steafan Hannigan on Uilleann Pipes and several other 'flutes.' In addition, the percussionist Pete Lockett introduced a wide variety of percussion instruments.  For Andrew Lloyd Webber's composition 'Unexpected Song,' Julian and John where joined by vocalist Michael Ball. All tracks were recorded with Polyhymnia's high quality audio equipment. making use of the excellent acoustics of Wyastone concert hall. Details of the release can be found on:
