Polyhymnia International has teamed up with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in a new recording venture. Since September 2004, Polyhymnia has been responsible for all of the recordings on the Concertgebouw's new label, RCO Live. All recordings will be released as hybrid SACD's, allowing the spectacular acoustics of the Concertgebouw to be experienced in high-quality surround. Releases so far include The Symphony Nr. 2 of Beethoven and Brahms; Stravisnsky's Petrushka coupled with Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances (both discs conducted by Mariss Jansons); and Bruckner's Symphony nr. 7 (conducted by Bernard Haitink).
