From December 1999 through December 2000, Polyhymnia travelled with John Eliot Gardiner, recording the Bach Cantata Pilgrimage on location in churches around Europe, ending with a New Year's concert in New York City.

SDG, a new label started by John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra, is dedicated to releasing the recordings made during this extraordinary Pilgrimage.

In total SDG will release 51 CDs, and Polyhymnia is responsible for the editing and mastering of each disc.

There are 11 volumes already available, and the series to date has received outstanding reveiews and much acclaim in the press. The first release (SDG 101) won the prestigious Gramophone record of the Year award in 2005.
